Guidelines on the use of Photographs & Illustrations
PxD strives to use images that are representative of our users, we try to be as accurate and inclusive as possible. If you are unsure if a picture is representative of our user base, please consult a project manager (for the initiative concerned) or comms. For example, we don’t want to share a picture of farmers in Karnataka to illustrate a point about an operation in Odisha.
Use only high quality images, if possible. PxD communications can assist with sourcing or editing images. Some of our sources include:
Stock.adobe.com (we have a subscription to this service, contact Niek to license images for you)
Please only use images for which we own a license (ask Niek), that were taken by PxD staff (see next two points), and/or have a verifiable creative commons license.
If you use a picture taken by PxD staff please ensure that we have consent from any people pictured (see consent form and guidance).
Avoid using pictures of children (except under exceptional circumstances).
